First Annual August Art Jubilee 2012!!!

The first annual August Art Jubilee at The Art Barn was such an amazing event! I am so excited that I was able to be a part of it! I was able to take some pics of the vendors and the grounds before it got too crowded... Enjoy the stroll :-)

Here's a picture of my booth!
The theme of the Jubilee was Birds of a Feather!!

Rescue, Redemption, and Realization of Worth...

Okay so it's pretty clear that I need to work on my blogging skillzzz... I haven't posted every day like I had planned... I haven't even posted very regularly which is something you kinda need to do if you want to have a blog that people want to check out regularly... geeeeeez most of the time I don't even remember to take before pictures of most of my pieces which is kinda important when you take trash and discards and turn them into pieces of art. It's important for people to see the transformation in order to understand the themes that flood my art... which are rescue, redemption, and realization of worth.... I'm posting three of my recent pieces and I honestly had every intention of taking pictures of all the pieces and parts that went into all three but so many times inspiration hits and before I know it the piece is finished and I'm kicking myself because I took NO before pictures... I'm pledging to do a much better job of documenting the process... which I truly believe gives insight into who I am and why I create...

Amazing News!!!!!!!

Okay I am deliriously excited about the news I'm about to share!  I feel blessed beyond measure and I am so grateful to God for the opportunities he has given me... alright drumroll please...  dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd (that was my failed attempt at a drumroll... but humor me)
My artwork is now available at The Art Barn! I am so humbled that Dawna enjoys my work! Her art is so amazing and I find so much inspiration just hanging with her at the Barn and am honored to call her friend. I'm posting pictures of a few of my pieces available in the gift shop! But you seriously need to check out The Art Barn for yourself! There are so many amazing artists represented! It is a beautiful place to draw inspiration, find the one-of-a-kind piece that you've been looking for, and to foster and develop your creativity!

"Maggie's Fantastical Ride"

"Monocle Joe"

"Time Enough At Last"

Thanks!
